Alto Adige GuestPass

The Alto Adige GuestPass is offered to guests of participating accommodations in South Tyrol as a special inclusive service. The goal is to promote sustainable mobility through the use of public transportation and to reduce the impact of individual traffic on nature and the population.
This means for you: If you stay at our bike hotel near Merano or in our residence, you can use all of South Tyrol's public transportation for the duration of your stay for free.
All guests over 6 years old receive the personalized pass at check-in. It is valid from 00:00 on the day of arrival until 23:59 on the day of departure and must be validated at the start of each journey.

Services Included:

• Regional and regional express trains within South Tyrol and as far as Trento
• City and regional buses
• Postal bus to Switzerland (line 811, section Malles - Müstair/border)
• VVT Regiobus to Austria (line 273, section Malles - Pfunds/Kajetansbrücke and line 335, section Moss i.P. - Obergurgl)
• Cable cars (Ritten cable car and narrow gauge railway, Kohlern, Mendel funicular, Verano, Meltina)

Services Not Included:

• Special lines such as Nightliner, long-distance trains and Alpine lines (Alpe di Siusi Shuttle 10, 11, 12, lines 439, 442 and 444 in summer)
• Dogs need their own ticket and a muzzle. Guide dogs and small animals that can be held in the arm do not need a ticket.
• A daily bicycle ticket is required to take a bicycle. Bicycles can only be taken on regional trains and on buses with bicycle racks if there are free places available.
