Your holiday cheat sheet with all important information
We all love surprises, but only the nice ones! So that your vacation is full of them, but runs without any unexpected obstacles, we have summarized the most important information and "house rules" understandably here. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
The Garni Hotel Kessler is centrally located on a side street with no through traffic.
The bus station can be reached in three minutes (180 m), the town center with pedestrian zone and numerous restaurants in five minutes (300 m). There are plenty of free parking spaces available outdoors. Guests of the Residence can park for free in the underground garage. Guests of the Garni-Hotel can also park in the underground garage for a parking fee if desired. Two charging stations are available for electric cars (€0.50/kWh).
The Garni Hotel Kessler is an ADFC-certified hotel. Our guests have access to a lockable bicycle room, where the bikes can also be charged for free.
Your room will be ready from around 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. We ask that you vacate your room by 10:30 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure.
For all guests over the age of 14, a municipal stay tax of €2.90 per person, per night is collected. This local tax is not included in the total price of your stay and can only be paid on site.
When staying in a triple room, the third person receives a discount of 15%. The rooms only available to book as single rooms are Garden View Junior with balcony and Garden View Junior Standard (with a discount of €13 on the regular room price). Credit card payments are possible.
There is no right of withdrawal within the meaning of the Consumer Protection Code – however, we grant you the following cancellation conditions:
- up to 31 days before arrival: free cancellation
- 30 to 21 days before arrival: 40% of the total booked amount
- 20 to 11 days before arrival: 60% of the total booked amount
- 10 to 6 days before arrival: 80% of the total booked amount
- from 5 days before arrival: 100% of the total booked amount
To avoid cancellation costs, we recommend that you take out a travel cancellation insurance.
Your four-legged friend is warmly welcomed for a daily fee of 10 Euros (without food). We ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room.
Our guests have access to a natural swimming pond and an outdoor pool. The water temperature in the pool is 28 degrees all year round. The pool is heated in the spring and autumn.
The saunas in the indoor and outdoor areas as well as the gym are free of charge and open for you by appointment from 2-8pm.
Finnish panorama sauna, steam bath and whirlpool on the rooftop terrace are available free of charge to the guests of the Residence upon prior registration. Guests at the Garni Hotel can use the wellness area for a fee.
We happily provide bathrobes to our hotel guests free of charge upon request.
Our guests at the Residence will find the bathrobes in the apartments.
