Sustainability is more than just a buzzword for us.
The clean air, the untouched nature, the moderate climate... What guests love about South Tyrol, is also close to our hearts. As forward-thinking hosts, it is in our interest to preserve this natural treasure for future generations of guests and locals. Step by step, we have therefore implemented environmental and climate protection measures in our operation. Of course, we are pleased if you also deal consciously with our resources during your stay in South Tyrol.
Our Contribution
- 38% of our electricity comes from our photovoltaic system, the purchased electricity from green hydropower
- Air source heat pump for hot water, heating and cooling
- Rainwater for garden irrigation (this reduced our total water consumption by around 50%)
- Environmentally friendly washing and cleaning agents
- Lighting of outdoor and indoor areas with economical and durable LED lamps that can be recycled
- Regional and seasonal food and careful waste separation
- Charging stations for electric vehicles (for a fee)
Your Contribution
You too can contribute to preserving our environment through your behavior on vacation. Even small gestures such as turning off unused devices and lights, not unnecessarily wasting water and food, and reducing laundry quantities in the hotel, make a difference in the long term. Use refillable drinking bottles instead of disposable plastic (the best water comes from our faucets and from every fountain) and do not leave any waste in nature. For sustainable mobility, we recommend traveling by public transportation, and thanks to the South Tyrol Guest Pass, you can use all bus and train lines in South Tyrol free of charge during your stay.
